Most of us have boxes of old photographs handed down over the years. And yet so often people tell us that they regret that there aren’t more photographs of their family now. Whether it’s parents, grandparents, siblings or family members who now live overseas or who have passed away, the lack of photographs to bring back happy memories or to share with the younger generation can cause real sadness, now and in the future.
It’s true that people now have thousands of snaps on their phones, but they hardly ever get them printed, and many are lost when phones aren’t backed up or are lost. The truth is, nothing really replaces a professional taken photograph, beautifully printed and framed, or displayed in an album.
We can put together a photographic service that exactly meets your needs. Whether it’s a family celebration, a special event such as a graduation or a ‘big’ birthday, or perhaps a family reunion, we can help you to create photographs that will capture the moment forever.
Making memories needn’t cost a fortune – why not contact us for a chat about how we can help you.
No problem. We can either do your photoshoot on location outside, or we have the technology to take several smaller shots and stitch them together in Photoshop. You won’t even see the join.
Photography less serious?
Family portraits don’t have to be formal. If your family is more silly than serious then we say bring it on! We love to have fun on our shoots. Want to be chased by a T-Rex? Just say the word.
We want to make sure that if you book a portrait shoot with us, you have the very best experience possible, and end up with the photographs you want. A lot of our work is done before we even pick up a camera. We start with having a conversation with you – on the phone or over a brew in our office, whichever you prefer – so that we understand exactly what you want.
For example, what do you want the portrait for? Is it going to hang on a wall or stand on a table, or perhaps you’re thinking about an album or something for your website. Then we’ll ask you the style you’re looking for – formal, informal, fun? Understanding all of this makes a big difference to how we shoot the portrait, and is something you just don’t get with all photographers.
Before the shoot, we’ll send you a guide to help you get the best out of the occasion, covering our most frequently asked questions such as what to wear and what to avoid. After the shoot, we’ll invite you back to our custom viewing room to see your photographs, and we’ll help you to make a choice that meets your needs and fits your budget.
We can promise you that there will be no high-pressure sales, that’s just not our style. If you would like to see examples of our work, go to www.studiog-oldham.co.uk and of course, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Our standard studio portrait sessions cost just £35 and includes a gift print. Outfit changes, location shots and makeovers may inur additonal costs, but this will be agreed before the shoot takes place.
We try to keep the initial costs as low as we can because we understand that people don’t want to lay out a lot of money upfront before they have even seen the photographs. But we are confident that our work speaks for itself and that once you see the images we have taken you will want to own them. For that reason we offer three optional package upgrades, all of which offer fantastic value for money.
You will be offered the chance to upgrade when you come to view your images.Or you may choose products from our a la carte price list. Either way, you won’t get a hard sell from us. We want you to leave here happy and want to recommend us to your friends and family. If there is anything else you would like to know please ask. We have examples of our work available to show you and we’re always happy for potential clients to pop in for a look around, a brew and a chat.
